IKEA for steam locomotive frames? Just cut and paste together....

This is a sneak peek of more to come on the T1 frame engineering. We will be giving several presentations at the Pennsylvania Railroad Historical and Technical Society this Friday and Saturday. If you are planning on attending the convention in Dublin, OH come up and introduce yourself and say hi to the team responsible for putting the locomotive together with your donations.

This frame only weighs 70,000 lbs.... we are sure it can be assembled in an afternoon. 😉
