Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) facilities in New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties are open as cooling centers through July 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hudson, Williams, and Adams State Service Centers will be open until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1.

DHSS Makes Cooling Centers Available During Extreme Heat - State of Delaware News As another stretch of high temperatures and dangerous heat index values is expected across Delaware, the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) is opening cooling centers to provide residents with a safe place to escape the heat.
