BIG NEWS from Carnival Cruise Line:

Carnival just made some major announcements, and there’s a lot to be excited about:

New Ship: CARNIVAL FESTIVALE!
Launching in Spring 2027 from Port Canaveral, this fourth Excel-class ship will feature brand-new music-themed zones, enhanced youth programs (including a dedicated space for toddlers), and Carnival Waterworks Ultra — the largest and most family-friendly waterpark at sea.

Family Enhancements
Over 1,000 connecting staterooms, more than any other Excel-class ship, plus expanded areas and programming for kids ages 6 months to teens.

Sunsation Point
A brand-new top deck experience with waterslides, rope courses, mini golf, dry play zones, and nighttime events with DJs and extended splash hours.

Dining Updates
Carnival’s Chief Culinary Officer, Emeril Lagasse, is helping develop new food concepts. While ChiBang! will be replaced, popular favorites like Guy’s Burger Joint, Pig & Anchor, and Big Chicken are staying.

CARNIVAL TROPICALE - Sets Sail in 2028

A brand-new class of ships, known as Project ACE begins arriving in 2029, each holding nearly 8,000 guests.

Itinerary & Deployment Changes
- Carnival returns to year-round cruising from Mobile, AL
- A larger ship may replace Carnival Pride in Baltimore
- Mahogany Bay becomes Isla Tropicale, with a pool, cabanas, beach club, and more

Loyalty Program Updates
Carnival's VIFP loyalty program is being refreshed with new benefits, set to roll out in 2026. Full details this summer!
