Martha Chapter NO 2 received it’s charter March 15, 1922, making the existence of the chapter 101 years this month. To acknowledge the 101 years the following is the recognition:
MC2 received a letter from Wilmington Mayor Michael S Purzycki that acknowledged their community service over the years; Wilmington City Council will pay tribute to Martha Chapter # 2 on April 6th and has invited them to receive their letter of tribute at their council meeting (time will be forthcoming);

Matthew Myers County Executive of New Castle County, honored Martha Chapter with a proclamation that proclaims March 15, 2023 as Martha Chapter NO 2 Day in New Castle County. (this was not asked for) but is exciting to have a special day for us). If possible let each of us show an act of kindness on that day. Let us be grateful that our chapter is still standing and be proud of our chapter, no matter what may come our way.💕🙏🏽
