We must transition DOWN fossil fuels - especially coal. NOT expand them.
Adani Enterprises AGM, happening Tuesday 26th July, is set to be another masterclass in . Adani says it’s committed to ‘green’ but since 2020 Adani has bought 8 NEW coal mines on top of the 9 coal mines already in operation in the Asia-Pacific region.
Just based on present production capacity alone, Adani would account for nearly 3% of the world’s coal related emissions.
It’s time for investors like BlackRock, Vanguard and PIMCO to see through Adani’s greenwashing spin and cut off their investment ties.
