Last year, John and I had the pleasure of attending the CenDel Foundation Gourmet Dinner Drawing Cocktail Reception, and it was truly a wonderful evening. The setting was absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent, and it was a great opportunity to connect with friends, business leaders, and community members while supporting an organization that makes a meaningful impact throughout Central Delaware.

This year, I have the privilege of serving on both the CenDel Foundation Board of Directors and the event committee, which makes this event especially meaningful to me.

The 2026 Gourmet Dinner Drawing Cocktail Reception will be held on Friday, August 14, from 6:00–9:00 PM at the breathtaking private garden of longtime CenDel supporters Joe and Tonda Parks, fondly known as Shortwood Gardens. Guests will enjoy cocktails, delicious cuisine from Bonz Restaurant & Lounge, and the opportunity to participate in the Gourmet Dinner Drawing for a truly unique dining experience.

As CenDel's largest annual fundraiser, proceeds support scholarships, nonprofit grants, and community initiatives that help strengthen our region and improve lives throughout Central Delaware.

🎟 Tickets are $125 per person and include admission to the cocktail reception and one entry into the Gourmet Dinner Drawing.
