Happy New Year! As we move into 2018 here are a few thoughts to ponder...we have become a society of DIYers, mainly to save money - who doesn't need to do that! And with access to the internet you can find a tutorial on just about everything! But as you move in this direction please do not forget your service professionals! Shop local and shop small business! I know that you can easily purchase a replacement radiator on line or from a big box store and probably for a few dollars less than what you can get it for at Kell Radiator Service or another small business service provider...but try to remember that when accidents happen during the installation of your new part (and they often do) the big box store and the on-line store is not going to be able to help you keep a small "oops" from becoming a large investment!
Here at Kell Radiator Service we DO understand the need to save labor costs and "do it yourself" and that is why on any radiator purchased new from us and on any repair we perform, if your part gets damaged during installation we will either patch the boo-boo for free or if a more substantial repair is needed we will help you with the repair cost! Most warranties will NOT cover any damaged sustained after point of purchase!
This is very important to understand and remember as we small businesses are able to keep our labor costs affordable by the revenue from our retail sales. If profits from the retail sales disappear then the labor costs have to rise to cover overhead expenses. Most small businesses do not have the "parent company" to cover the slow months or the decrease in retail sales as the big box stores do!
So keep your service professionals in business and shop local and shop small!
