5 Reasons RV Camping is Awesome in Winter** Months

1️⃣ Money! It’s basic supply-and-demand. RV Parks aren’t as busy in the Winter quarter, so they often offer deep discounts.

2️⃣ Scenery and Environment. If you head North, you can take in the falling snow and do some amazing snowmobiling or ATV’ing. If you stick in the warmer climates, you can enjoy less humidity, fewer annoying pests like mosquitoes or snakes.

3️⃣ Active Lifestyle! Getting the fresh, crisp mountain air into your lungs has GOT to add a few years to life! It’s a reset we could all use.

4️⃣ Peace. It’s no doubt those who are fed by solitude would enjoy an RV vacation with limited crowds to contend with.

5️⃣ Get the most out of your investment. You took your hard-earned dollars and bought the RV perfect for you and/or the family; you vowed to use the heck out of it. Include the Winter months!

And local friends, if you need just one more reason... If the Northerners do it, we Southern stock absolutely can too.

When my two oldest boys graduated high school four and five years ago, those milestones, in particular, struck me as a dad to two young men.

How have I prepared them? What lessons have they learned? Maybe most important- what have I modeled for them?

What does it mean to be “Dad”?

To me, it means support, care, a friend. All these things, but also…

“Dad” means being bold enough to make the tough decision, because it’s the right thing to do. It means engaging my kid’s perspectives while keeping my feet planted on solid ground. It’s earning respect through humility and grace.

Keeping my word.

I realize it’s a bold move, naming our business *Integrity* RV.

This isn’t lost on me.

Having this one word front and center keeps me oriented towards the values I intend to keep as Dad AND business owner.

Respect is earned through honesty and communication with my wife, kids, as well as every person I do business with.

So, what’s in a name?

For me as Dad, it’s commitment.

For us at Integrity RV, it’s our foundation for business.
