When choosing a rigging line, consider its purpose first. ☝️

Solid braids such as True Blue, Arborplex, and 3-strand ropes are cheaper per foot, easier to inspect, and somewhat more resilient to rigging without hardware.

Double-braid bull ropes like Dynasorb, Atlas, or Stable braid will be stronger for equivalent diameters, stretch less, and run much more smoothly through metal hardware. This also makes them better suited to technical rigging where rigging rings, blocks, and lifting equipment will be used.
