Making progress on a new speculative shelter! - This construct will be part of its understructure. I’m loving the geometry of form and shadows… should I do a series of drawings to accompany this piece…?

Finally getting around to sharing more images of the Parallel Worlds exhibition in Chicago. Huge thanks to Elyse Longair, who curated the show as well as to the CAA Services to Artists Committee members for all their support and awesome energy. It’s also been so great meeting and learning about the work created by the other artists in the exhibition!

So grateful to meet , yesterday evening at the curator’s walk through for Ancestral Futures ! And thrilled to be able to see this show in person as well. The show’s up until February 27.

making frames and framing works this weekend - finished this piece - 20” x 30” - The Visitor in Wildfire Shelterwear, 38.15171N, 106.47050W (2025) Now to ship it along with some other work for a group at ARC Gallery in Chicago - more soon! Pleased with this frame; sometimes it’s tricky getting the color right- for this one I used white stain and polycrylic clear gloss (over poplar)
