Girard Middle School’s Boys 2 Men session was superb today (April 13, 2016). The invited guest speaker, Office White, from the Florida Corrections System, provided insight, interesting facts and words of encouragement to our young men on how to excel and achieve their goals in life. A major thank you to Principal McKay, Mr. Scurlark, Mr. Wagstaff and yours truly, Mr. Reynolds for their dedicated support to our young men.

Phi Beta Sigma Man For Congress!

Nearly seven years ago, back in 2009, while attending Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.’s Conclave, I met a young man named Reuben D’Silva, who had an immediate impact on me. At first I thought it was the just fact the we were both veterans from war, but then I soon realized that Brother D’Silva was much, much more. This brother was the real deal and you could see it and feel it in his spirit. I just felt that he would be one of the next generation of Sigma men that would continue to elevate the cause of our founders!

So, we shared contact information and I’ve been following him and pleased with his accomplishments and decisions that have always shown a positive light on himself, his family, his community and his beloved fraternity. And now he is running for U.S Congress in Nevada's First District….wow!
