Join us for The Great Downtown Book Move on Monday, June 22, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM as we help move Downtown Books into its new home across Foster Street.

We're inviting the entire community to form a human chain and pass books hand-to-hand in what promises to be a one-of-a-kind downtown experience. Whether you can stay for a few minutes or the entire evening, your help will make a difference.

✔️ Volunteers of all ages welcome
✔️ High school students can earn community service hours
✔️ Pizza, music, games, and prizes

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Downtown Dothan.

We are honored to be named one of Alabama’s newest Main Street Designated Communities. This achievement reflects the dedication of countless community leaders, business owners, property owners, volunteers, partners, and residents who believe in the future of our downtown.

While we celebrate this milestone, we are even more excited about the work ahead. Together, we will continue building on the momentum already taking place downtown by strengthening partnerships, supporting businesses, preserving our historic character, and creating new opportunities for investment and growth.
