This past weekend, we had an amazing time bringing the Wiregrass community together to raise awareness about child abuse prevention at our carnival-themed event 🎡💙

We want to recognize our local partners, Family Guidance and the dedicated departments at Alfred Saliba Family Services, for their hard work and commitment to making this day a success. Last but not least, thank you to the Children’s Trust Fund for supporting the Work Plus Department in sharing the importance of recognizing and preventing child abuse.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out, showed support, and took the time to learn how to recognize and prevent child abuse. Together, we are making a difference in the Wiregrass area. 💙

This month is Child Abuse Awareness. Yesterday we met with other grantee in Montgomery for the Wear Blue and Pinwheel Planting. It was a pleasure seeing everyone. Here at our center the Coordinator over the Fatherhood Prigram bought the trust fund tag. Alabama Department of Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers

I am delighted to announce that 19 people graduated from our 24/7 Dad class today. This class and their instructor have earned my utmost admiration, and I wish them continued success in the program.
