Today's goes all the way back to 1947 when General Motors opened their auto factory in Doraville, where it became the area's largest employer and economic benefit to the community. Now the home of Assembly, the plant was open for 60 years and employed thousands. The 165-acre plant was so large that employees had to use these adult tricycles to navigate!
