This trailer was designed to fail.
This is what I'm best at, taking a bad design and changing it so it doesn't break again. Knowing exactly where the stress accumulates in metal and how to disperse it in a safe way is something most welders never seem to learn. Sometimes HOW and WHERE you weld something can cause it to break. Sometimes you need more flexibility in the design, sometimes you need more rigidity.

I'll never understand how someone can stay in business for over 10 years when they do work like this.
You'll see at the end of the video that after I fixed their "repair" I marked the repair area. If it ever cracks in that area that I marked i will repair it for free as long as it was done during normal driving (if you hit something that bends it or wreck the vehicle that's a different story.)
My repairs are guaranteed, their repair didn't make it a week.
This post isn't to bad mouth another business but it does make me angry to see people being taken advantage of.
If you can't do the repair correctly then don't do the work.
We are supposed to be professionals that people can trust to fix their problems and work like this just breaks that trust for all of us.
