Parents of struggling students understand this message. It is a recurrence of melt downs, anxiety, panic, stomach aches, and more. As parents, we learn to navigate their needs out of desperation to ease the child's silent pain.

Teachers, unless you are one of these parents... there is no way for you to truly know or have experienced this silent suffering. How could you know?

As we end a school semester, reflect, both teachers and parents, on what went well and what didn't go quite right. Why can one element work beautifully, and the other element seem to flop? What can we incorporate to help the student or child?

Teachers, at the end of the day, student learning is the goal.

Parents, at the end of the day, child well-being is the goal.

Teachers and Parents coming together in a partnership for both elements can be more than an ideal or a dream!
