The Flood Watch has been extended until 1 p.m. tomorrow. The air mass across the region is extremely humid, so there is the potential for excessive rainfall at least in isolated spots. Areas along and north of I-40 will be most impacted, with particular emphasis over northwest Middle Tennessee, which you can see circled on the map below. Fortunately, the risk of severe storms is very low for the foreseeable future. Rain and storm chances will continue throughout the week while temperatures increase above seasonal norms. (We're talking bonafide summer-like temperatures from Wednesday onward.)
