Corrections are a normal part of life in the dog world, even though a certain portion of society tries to tell it’s not necessary or natural for dogs, it truly is. What do we need to learn from this video? Firstly, this well-balanced Cane Corso is a great dog. There is nothing wrong with him setting this boundary, and it was needed because let’s face it the other dog was being a pest. Here is where we run into trouble. Some dogs don’t know how to correct appropriately, by either going from 1-100, or not correcting at all. In both of these instances, the human needs to be the one to immediately set the boundary if there is a line being crossed. If this is your dog, or happens to your dog, remain calm, and observe to see if there is any further action. In this particular case, there is nothing else that needs done. Any questions? 12/22/2025

We all need this reminder. Doing nothing is doing something, and sometimes that’s the cards that you’re dealt with in life. If you are always stuck trying to appease your dogs anxious mind, and you do not give them the skills to learn how to settle down on their own, You were going to be in for a world of trouble.
