The Arabians secured the bi-district championship with a series sweep against Navarro.
Join us at Alamo Heights for a single game playoff at 7:00 on Wednesday, April 29 for the Area title.

ROUND 1 PLAYOFFS

Come out and support your Arabians as they begin their playoff run against Navarro. Game 1 will be at home at 7:00. Game 2 will be in Navarro at 7:00. Game 3 (if necessary) will be held at SAISD on Saturday at 3:00.

Jaylynn Hernandez has been a four year letterman for Devine Softball. Her sophomore year she was named Second Team All District -Third Base. Her junior year she was named First Team All District -Third Base. Jaylynn received Academic All District all four years. She has been an incredible defensive player and we could count on her so many times to come in clutch on offense. Jaylynn has a heart of gold! She is a wonderful teammate and always willing to play in any position asked of her. Often times that meant catching, even out of season. We will miss JR tremendously and she leaves some big shoes to fill at Third Base.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

Abriella Kayl

Abriella has played 4 years of varsity softball. She played 3 years for Dilley HS and 1 for Devine HS
She was All District Honorable Mention 23’-24’ at Dilley HS. Not only has she excelled in Softball she has also excelled in other UIL events such as Debate. Abriella earned CX Debate 2x Top Speaker, CX Debate 2x State Qualifier, and State Octo Finalist. In Powerlifting she was a 3x Regional Qualifier.
She was also a student trainer and has helped us tremendously in that role. We can always count on Abriella to help us out when we are in need of any kind of medical attention and that has been a true asset to the team.
After High School she will be going off to college to further her academic and softball career.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

Next up is our very own Kynadie Cruz. Kynadie has been on varsity all 4 years. She is a 2X First Team All District Outfielder. This year she was named All Tournament in the Jourdanton Tournament. Kynadie’s current Career Stats include: 135 Hits, 80 RBI’s, 135 Runs and 54 Stolen Bases. She has had an incredible senior year making crazy plays in the outfield, covering so much ground, and being our lead off batter. Kynadie brings so much more than athleticism to the team. Her kindness, silly sense of humor and quiet leadership are attributes we love about her. There will definitely be some big shoes to fill in centerfield next year! You have left your mark in on the Arabian Softball Program.

We will be celebrating Senior Night on Friday April 17th. Each day we will be spotlighting one of our amazing seniors.

To start things off we would like to recognize a very important member of our team. Taylin Herrera has been a Varsity Manager for 2 years. There is no denying that softball has the best mangers who go above and beyond. They take care care of everything from equipment, drinks and stats to celebrating our victories and helping us through defeat.

Thank you Taylin Herrera for all you have done for this program!❤️

The Arabians take Pleasanton 5-1 in extra innings.
It was a pitchers dual until the 9th inning when Sam Zamora doubled and Maddy Hester hit a home run each driving in two runs.
Congratulations to Sam for racking up 19 Strikeouts!!
