28 was a year of extremes.
Polar opposites.

Love and loss.
Sickness and health.
Celebration and grief.
Movement and stillness
Head in the clouds and feet on the ground.
Discipline and disorder.

But there was an undercurrent to the process.

Intent.

I’m proud of the girl who kept her head down, studied, worked until her immune and nervous system gave in… I’m proud of becoming an attorney. And I am equally proud of the girl who let her hair fly behind her as she rode through the streets of six countries on her scooter. The girl who played with elephants and fire. The girl who let go.

She chose to do both with purpose.

Not as contradiction, but as truth.

If you know me, you know balance has never been my strong suit.

I don’t live in the middle.
I live at the edges.

So 28 felt like the most “Koli” year I’ve ever lived. The most honest. One end of the earth to the other.

And it’s the year I stopped trying to edit myself down into something easier to understand.

The year I made peace with the fact that I am
both divine and messy,
confused and driven,
tender and relentless,
equal and opposite parts
that do not need to cancel each other out.

They belong together.

So this next year isn’t about choosing a lane,
or finding balance for the sake of it.

It’s about integration.

Letting every part of me come along as I step into whatever 29 holds.

Lesson 28: Today is all you have, and it is more than enough time to fit in all of your work and all of your wild.

ps. The sky this morning was such a gorgeous representation of my year. Last slide ❤️

The Morning Scroll: A Lesson in Discipline Over Motivation 01/30/2025

The Morning Scroll: A Lesson in Discipline Over Motivation A blog post a day sounds daunting, but the moment I committed to it, life conveniently handed me an endless supply of things to write about. Maybe it’s just heightened awareness—either way, here we are. This morning, unbeknownst to me, I slept through eight alarms. Grabbed my phone in a panic, looked at the time, saw that I missed my yoga class, and rather than getting up in that moment......
