The production, Directed and Designed by Cal Schwartz, played throughout the city at New Center Park, Grand Circus Park and the historical Whitney restaurant in the summer of 2014 🧚‍♂️

Shakespeare in Detroit's Summer 2026 Youth Conservatory is well underway!

We have an incredible group of students hard at work bringing The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (Revised) to life, and we couldn't be more proud of their dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm.

A heartfelt thank you to our students, their parents, and their teachers for making this experience so meaningful.

We are also deeply grateful to the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation and the Walters Family Foundation for making not only this year's Summer Youth Conservatory possible, but also our arts education programming in schools throughout the fall, winter, and spring.

We can't wait to share what these talented young artists have been creating!
