Michigan Roundtable for Just Communities

This week, our Executive Director Dr. Yusef Bunchy Shakur & Deputy Director Joe Drew-Hundley had the pleasure of visiting one of The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries facilities to share the award winning Documentary, Redemption Road. This work is rooted in our Anchors of a Just and Beloved Community, “Dismantling Stigmas,Buildng Pathways” & “Building Community Power”. This was a powerful experience that included and emotional reunion between Dr. Shakur and a Friend who haven’t seen each other since Dr. Shakur was released from prison over 25 years ago.
