They're back for opening night! On Wednesday, 8/5 at 7pm, The Improv Nerds take the stage at the 13th Annual Detroit Improv Festival!
These talented improvisers are also the heart and soul of The Detroit Creativity Project youth advisory team, helping make sure our classes are a fun, safe space to create and be yourself.

Detroit’s young people are bursting with creativity and potential.
To give Detroit youth the opportunity and tools to reach for what’s possible, we created The Detroit Creativity Project.
Since 2011, our program has grown from serving 100 Detroit public school students to over 1700.
Through improvisation, students learn how to collaborate, listen, and build real relationships, while also gaining confidence, building literacy skills, and finding their voice, on stage and off.
We believe improv is one of the best investments we can make in Detroit’s young people.
