What a night • Michigan Music Awards. This pursuits always been homegrown for me, so it meant everything to be able to share that tonight. Thank you to everyone who came out. family, we keep going.

Time blurred, nights burned, and somehow — the music rose from the ashes. I’ve spent the last few years working on something that took me to places I necessarily didn’t want to go but had to in both good and bad ways. I can’t wait to share it all with you.

So much love to for hopping on this one. You didn’t have to bro but you did and that will always stick with me. A real one.

It’s not everyday that & walk into your studio session, 🫡life at .studios • I always believe God has you right where you’re meant to be, puts you in places at the right time, aligns you with the right ppl, even if it’s just to bless you with a moment or a season, I’m always grateful for it. Grams. I’ll miss your presence. It was legendary. You brought 9 incredible kids into this world and endured the loss of one. You were a rock. I’ll miss your laughter. Your love and consistency. Our phone calls on the road. Our post game pressers talking lions tigers & sparty. How every other picture we ever took you had your eyes closed. Your mind was always sharp. We just talked last week and you knew the score, top scorers, and the improvements that izzo needed to make to get state back on track. I’ll miss our rummy games, up north, mini-putt matches, your constant pursuit to make sure my music stays clean and how I need to slow down and stop rapping so fast. I’ll miss your humor. I’ll miss just knowing you’re there. I know all life eventually ends but it always felt like you’d live forever. You had such a devotion to God and your faith was never rattled. This morning heaven gained an angel. Job well done grams. State won today, I know that was you. Love you forever.

You gotta love it. If you don’t enjoy the process the end game will never be enough. The process is 90% of it. If you’re not enjoying 90% of it then it’s probably not for you. The other 10% - the stages, the shiny things, the moments - they’re fleeting. That’s why ppl who are solely focused on the endgame arrive there unfulfilled. I still love this, I still have fun with this, it still fulfills me when the lights are off. And respectfully, to each their own always. Just my two cents. we’ve been working, new music on the way.
