What feels sudden to you may have already been scheduled by God. There is a difference between Chronos -- the time we count -- and Kairos -- the moment we discern. God is not working on your calendar. He is working on His.

In Mark 5, a man possessed by a legion of demons seemed beyond reach. But overwhelming conditions are never beyond Christ. The unlikely, the unexpected, and the interrupted are exactly where God tends to show up.

The barriers keeping us from recognizing divine moments are real -- routine, familiarity, low expectation, delay fatigue. But Kairos rarely announces itself. It must be discerned. Do not let a busy schedule or a dismissed moment cause you to miss what God has already appointed.

Suddenly may look spontaneous to us while being appointed by God all along. Ecclesiastes 3:1, Acts 2:2.

JUBILEE SUNDAY | AUGUST 30
This Sunday, we honor the wisdom, faith, and legacy of our elders as they lead us in worship and celebration.

“Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.” — Psalm 71:18
