In honor of ! There are a lot of things to love about the Mitten and the U.P. For one thing, we have all the seasons, for better or worse. At Idea39, we all have things we love about living in the Great Lakes State.
Tori loves the beauty of the state’s nature.
D’Anne loves the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes where her wife proposed.
Annie loves always being close to the water so that she can swim, paddle board, go out on the boat, and fish.
Heather loves that we get all four seasons, cider mills, and that we are on the same parallels as Italy and France's wine-making regions and thus make great wine.
Nik loves that we have a variety of climates and cities: Southeast Michigan is a great metropolitan area, West Michigan has "beach towns," and the upper peninsula has so many different parks and natural beauty.

Idea39 staff has some resolutions for 2024:
D’Anne wants to read more books and write more poetry.
Tori wants to explore municipalities and initiatives in Ohio that Idea39 could be a good match for.
Nik wants to read at least 10 books and to go see small bands perform live.
Adrienne wants to be healthier and take things one at a time.
Heather wants to put aside more time for hobbies and be more active.
