The moments in between the moments while I’ve figured out my body over the years. 🖤✨ Being in my body has always felt incredibly strange to me, growing up as a ballerina meant I was constantly being pushed further and further, creating new breaking points to shatter. I battled with anorexia, developed chronic illnesses and struggled with my self expression that was always being controlled in some form or fashion. My hips had dips, my arms too long for my form, my vessel too thin for any sport but the one I was forced into, and my spirit weakened by unsupportive voices. Coming into my own was not an easy journey, weighed down by dysmorphia that attacked my mental and physical image of myself, I was constantly looking for the next way to fix what I thought was broken. Over the years I’ve learned how to manage my illnesses and work with them instead of against them, finding ways to live healthier and happier despite the damage of it all. I’ve had a lot of setbacks, but nothings ever stopped me, only delayed for a little while. So from this year, allll the way back to my first ever place, taking my first freeing selfie- embrace every inch of yourself. I promise it’s worth it 🖤✨ there’s no one I’d rather be than me 🥰

As a creative, the compliment I think I appreciate the most is my ability to be a “chameleon”
I’ve been told by many that I can be unrecognizable from shoot to shoot. As an actress I do my best to embody the character I’m portraying, as a cosplayer I put my own spins on the iconic fits that I love, as a designer I put a piece of myself into every outfit and as a stylist I strive to be ever changing and adapt from look to look making sure no vibe is ever the same. From wigs to space buns, masculine to feminine, it’s all me in different fonts and I’m so incredibly happy that it’s seen and heard by the creative community around me. Every outfit you see here was pieced together by yours truly, every concept I crafted carefully curated for each photographers style, and really do try to pour my soul into every shoot- whether it’s a renaissance faire fit or a professional shoot I strive to give it my all! I’m especially proud of my Poison Ivy cosplay, which is the very first outfit I designed myself after winning a giveaway! My craft has won me several covers and publications worldwide, I’ve booked gigs I used to only dream about and I am so incredibly grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had. My next goal is to add sewing to my artistic roster so I can make and wear something truly unique to my soul 🥰 Thank you to everyone I have learned from it’s been an amazing journey so far contributing to the Midwest creative scene and I’m so excited for what the future holds 🖤✨
