On this day in 1967, Martha and the Vandellas wrapped up a three-night engagement at legendary Detroit nightclub, The 20 Grand.

The performances were recorded for the album 'Martha and the Vandellas Live!,' which was released on the Gordy label later that September. The engagement was singer Betty Kelly's last with the group before she was replaced with Martha's sister, Lois.
