I always marvel at God's ability to minister to us through the most random of things. A song that "randomly" comes on, a friend's Facebook post, a text. His timing is perfectly orchestrated for us.
Almost 12 years ago I had the most perfect baby girl after a difficult pregnancy, but before that began our family's journey of loss as I miscarried my first child. It was the most devastating couple of years of my life, but I grew and learned so much that has carried me through and continues to be my foundation in hard times. HOW TO LEAN ON JESUS, and those with Godly counsel around me (many of whom I still treasure), how to STILL BLESS HIM IN THE MIDDLE OF MY STORM, and how to grow in my faith. Mostly that when my world feels like it's shifting and my faith feels like it could be shaken by worldly circumstances God is still faithful and HE IS MY ANCHOR AND FIRM FOUNDATION HOLDING ME FIRMLY TO THE GROUND.

So in the middle of any circumstances I can still bless His name, and thank him because HE IS ENOUGH, HE IS FAITHFUL, AND HE IS MY ANCHOR.

I'm catching up on some computer work while the girls build legos after a day at the zoo in Chicago. It's been a long fantastic few weeks traveling and glad to have time to sit in the sunshine and get our stuff together for the upcoming school year while the back to school sales are going on.
