What a perfect morning for a BIRTH day! ❤️

Birth is so unpredictable, and you just surrender to it, and listen to your body, allowing the contractions to flow through. Labor is hard work, and it tests every ounce of strength and determination you have....but the end result makes it so worth it.

Last night, our beautiful mama, labored hard to bring her sweet baby earthside, in the darkness, with her family close by, this baby made his appearance, quite quickly, when he decided to come. I've never felt so much relief for this mama, as when she was finally holding her baby! Her sheer strength was remarkable! Good job, mama! You were amazing and so determined! I am so proud of you! Women's bodies are extraordinary!

I am so grateful to have been invited into their home to help support her in labor, and to witness new life being born and seeing the wonder and amazement in their other children's eyes, as they get to meet their new tiny sibling. 🥰

Congratulations to you all! 🫶😍

Shout out to the midwives at Harmony Health and Home Birth - Southern Illinois it was so nice getting to meet you both and work alongside you! And it was a pleasure to finally meet Natasha Bardsley in person! 🥰

I hope everyone got some rest this morning. 🫶

We have so many brand new postpartum mama's, so I thought is would be fun to create a wardrobe capsule of comfy but cute outfits that would be perfect for postpartum, ...meaning when you're not in your pj's! 🥰

Of course we expect you to be in your pajamas the first week, except for the pediatrician appointment. Lol, but sometimes it's nice and feels good to get dressed and do your hair or a little self care.
