The First Encounter

We are excited to welcome Sam Halligan as our speaker tomorrow for First Friday Encounter. Sam Halligan is a dynamic speaker with a passion for revitalizing the Church. With an infectious sense of humor and powerful conviction, Sam engages audiences with his unique blend of fun and passion. Sam is a graduate of Benedictine College with degrees in Theology and Evangelization. Since serving in full-time ministry he has spoken to over 15,000 individuals and speaks to thousands every year. He runs a men’s podcast: Modern Man and authors a Substack publication, “Iron and Oak”. Sam is a dedicated and committed husband to Whitney and father to their three children. He serves with FORGE as the Director of Mission for Des Moines and regularly engages the adventure of life through CrossFit, triathlons, travel, authoring books & resources, and mentoring men.
