It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Des Moines City Attorney Tim George, J.D., on being selected as Highline College's 2026 Distinguished Alumnus.

This 2002 graduate now helps develop significant infrastructure projects, like the Light Rail Extension, marina improvements, a fishing pier replacement, new parks, forested areas, and more. He was selected for his exceptional leadership and public service within South King County, and his commitment to the community that helped shape his success.

Tim will be recognized during Commencement on June 18 at ShoWare Center in Kent. Learn more about Tim's impact on the community by visiting highline.edu/about/newsroom/news/distinguished-alumnus-2026.html
