Reflection For Today
This week we’ve been talking about safety.
And not just physical safety.
The kind of safety that allows you to be yourself.
The kind of safety that lets your nervous system finally take a breath.
So here’s what I’m reflecting on today:
✨ Where do I feel most at peace?
✨ Who helps me feel like I don’t have to perform?
✨ What activities help me feel grounded?
✨ What makes my body soften instead of brace?
✨ How can I create a little more of that this week?
No need to fix anything.
No need to have all the answers.
Just notice.
Sometimes awareness is the first step.
And sometimes safety is the second.

This week we've been talking about awareness.
About noticing the ways survival mode can quietly become our normal.
So here's your reflection for today:
✨ What feels heavy right now?
✨ What responsibility are you carrying that may not actually belong to you?
✨ Where in your life are you running on autopilot?
✨ When was the last time you felt truly relaxed?
No fixing.
No judging.
No rushing to change anything.
Just noticing.
Sometimes awareness alone creates the space for something new to grow.
I'd love to hear your thoughts below if you're comfortable sharing. 🌿

Can I be honest?
I used to think I was bad at resting.
Every time I sat down, there was a voice in the back of my head telling me I should be doing something.
Cleaning.
Working.
Planning.
Helping someone.
Fixing something.
Being productive.
If I wasn’t moving, I felt guilty.
If I wasn’t accomplishing something, I felt behind.
For a long time I thought that was ambition.
Now I realize it was survival.
The body gets so used to being “on” that eventually being busy feels normal and being relaxed feels uncomfortable.
Maybe that’s why so many of us struggle to slow down.
Not because we’re lazy.
Not because we’re failing.
But because we’ve spent years teaching our nervous system that rest isn’t safe.
This week, I want you to pay attention to something:
How often do you feel like you have to earn your rest?
How often do you tell yourself:
“I’ll relax after…”
After the laundry.
After work.
After the project.
After everyone else is taken care of.
What if your body isn’t asking for more discipline?
What if it’s asking for a moment to breathe?
🌿 Awareness is the first step.
Before we can change anything, we have to notice it.
