Donald Trump just won his first presidential run. My fourth-grade classroom was filled with nine to 10-year-olds informing each other about whom their parents had voted for, barely understanding the effect my parents and I were already facing due to the election’s outcome.

Sheslow Auditorium was engulfed in darkness, except for the bright stage lights up front, shining down on a glossy grand piano. The over 50 individuals in the room were silent, except for the student musician on stage pouring music into the space.

The Drake University men’s and women’s basketball teams saw intense games to kick off February in the Knapp Center and on the road. With March Madness and the Missouri Valley Conference tournament just a month away, these four weeks of competition will be necessary for both teams to have a chance at the tournaments.

Weak Wi-Fi signals, dropped connections to Blackboard and frozen loading screens have become familiar frustrations for students and faculty since the beginning of the semester. With a change in operating systems, the servers have been having more difficulty running with the number of people online at a time.
