On July 3, a flash flood event on Fourmile Creek in Des Moines resulted in the displacement of 144 households at Parkside East Apartments in Des Moines. Upper story residents in affected buildings could be displaced for approximately 1 month while the recovery process will last longer for 32 affected first floor households.
