Vaudeville Mews opened December 5, 2002. Cause of death, COVID 19 Fall 2020. The old and weak die. This DIY venue welcomed thousands of artists to bring their original creations to Des Moines. Many have indelible memories of simpler times. The public responded going to big or small events, moving the creative landscape forward. Some will say that the Mews passed too soon. Others say that the acts and the staff inspired generations to come.
