Even in a pandemic, we celebrate National Day on Writing, which was Tuesday, October 20. Here is the raffle-winning-entry for :

"I write to have experiences again. Nothing is better than getting to write out the best or worst day of your life. I write to get something off my chest. As the pencil is going or keys are clicking you can feel your chest getting lighter. I will always write when I get a minute to myself. And as a future teacher, I can’t wait to get to show my students how great writing can be!"

Have you missed us?! This semester has been B-U-S-Y. In addition to all of the awesome appointments we've had with writers from across campus, we've been doing workshops, and last week, we presented at the International Writing Centers Association Conference! Congrats to tutors Carlos, Jaime, and Brett for representing the GVWC in Atlanta and doing a spectacular job!
