Jude Kofie is a young pianist from Aurora, Colorado. Born prematurely and facing health challenges like multiple surgeries and an Autism diagnosis, Jude’s early years were marked by resilience. But it was his unlikely discovery of music that would redefine his life and captivate audiences around the world.

Jude began playing piano at 10 and his musical gifts were first noticed by his father, a musician from Ghana. He recognized Jude had perfect pitch and could play by ear. When a local piano tuner, Bill Magnusson, saw a news feature on Jude, he was inspired and moved enough to donate a grand piano to support Jude’s dreams.

Jude is celebrated for his soulful interpretations of jazz, gospel, and classical music. His performances have lead to collabs with people like Jason Halbert, the musical director for the Kelly Clarkson Show.

Colorado is taking a major step toward protecting students with disabilities. SB26-125 would strengthen disability rights in public schools by giving families faster ways to report violations, increasing accountability for schools, and reinforcing protections for students with IEPs and 504 Plans.

If signed into law, the bill would help ensure students with disabilities have equal access to classrooms, activities, accommodations, and support across Colorado schools. ♿📚✨

Jared Polis needs to sign this bill, so our schools can further implement more services and rights to disabled children!
