Yesterday, Denver Fire crews responded to a recycling yard fire near 1775 W. Wesley Ave. Upon arrival, firefighters found a large pile of trash burning within the facility.
Crews quickly worked to darken the fire down and prevent extension. At this time, no structures or exposures were threatened. Heavy equipment operators from the facility responded to assist crews by pulling apart the debris pile to help complete extinguishment and extinguish remaining hot spots.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
