This was one of ’s first regular gigs at the Ale House in Portland, Maine—every Sunday night during the dead of winter 2004-5—and proof that was originally on guitar, and that I loved wearing sweatpants on stage. We’d make just enough money to take us and one lucky friend to Denny’s. It was magic ✨
