Many men are taught to push through, stay busy, and keep their struggles to themselves. As a result, mental health challenges often show up as anger, exhaustion, isolation, or feeling disconnected- not necessarily sadness.
This Men’s Mental Health Month, remember that mental health struggles aren’t always obvious.
Check in on your husbands. Check in on your friends. Check in on your brothers. Check in on the men who always seem to have it together.
Sometimes the strongest-looking people are carrying the heaviest burdens.
