Denver has approved plans for the Wynkoop Crossing, a new pedestrian and bicycle bridge that will connect LoDo to Ball Arena by spanning Speer Boulevard.

Expected to open in 2029, the bridge is part of Kroenke Sports and Entertainment’s massive Ball Arena redevelopment, which will eventually add thousands of homes, new restaurants, retail, parks, a hotel, and an entertainment district.

The larger River Mile redevelopment is expected to continue through 2050.
