Borrowed from one of my photography friends- funny, if it weren’t so true.

For too many people this is oh so true... If you have never shot film do yourself a favor (and have some fun at the same time). Pick up an old film camera on eBay or wherever (I shoot Canon, so I have an EOS3 - Nikon shooters should go for the F100), and a few rolls of Kodak Portra 400 and shoot some personal projects on film where you have to really think about the whole imaging process. And please don't take it down to Walmart or Costco. Send it out to Richard Photo Lab in Valencia, CA for processing and then really study the results. This exercise gives real meaning to "get it right in camera" 😎

Sometimes, when you are standing in a room and turn around and see a shot, you don't have time to set up lighting. What you see is what you get - and if all you have in your hand is an iPhone... Oh, well.

Biting off a huge chunk - I have declared my candidacy for Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and am prepping for the exam. Once I pass the exam I will prepare a set of 15 client images for review by a panel of judges and they are tough! Wish me well!
