Earlier this Winter I saw and photographed the largest and finest example of a 'Rime Frost' I've ever witnessed. Two days later I went back to the same location to view it again. Although the temperatures had remained below freezing, every speck of the frost was gone. The snow remained on the ground but every branch and limb were completely free of frost. Nature is amazing!
