Words are hard to find in situations like this... The loss of three wildland firefighters along Colorado's western border is a heavy, heartbreaking reminder of the stakes those crews face far too often.

I honestly don't know how to express my grief — still, I have profound gratitude for their sacrifice, deep sorrow for the fallen's families, and sincere support for those recovering as well as everyone still on the fire line under brutal conditions. 💔
