Autism: Core Concepts for Primary Care Part 1 supports prescribing providers (MD, DO, APP) in the screening, diagnosis, and management of patients with an autism spectrum disorder and related developmental delays. See below for topics covered. Resources and referral information will be shared throughout the series.

Sessions include a brief didactic presentation by an expert and discussion of participant-submitted cases. Participants are highly encouraged to submit de-identified patient cases for group discussion and expert consultation.

This ECHO series offers providers and other staff working in health care and public health settings an opportunity to navigate, normalize and validate worries, stressors and experiences related to various health care environments.

The first two sessions are foundational to the rest of the series and introduce language and concepts woven throughout the remaining sessions. Presence is encouraged at all sessions, as this is an interactive series offering a space to connect with other health care workers.
