Sounds on 29th

This is the hardest and most bittersweet post I have ever had to write.

After 11 years as Executive Producer of Sounds on 29th, I will be stepping down to pursue other professional opportunities.

This show started as a crazy idea that we honestly didn’t think would last past one season and with shock and awe, we take great pride in its enduring legacy.

Our stage has been graced by literally hundreds of insanely talented musicians, comedians and spoken word artists. A testament to the creative force that has been built brick by brick by a loving and dedicated community.

This show has been my baby, my passion and my driving force. I have had the great honor to build so many relationships and authentic friendships that will sustain me and fill my cup for a very long time.

To all the artists who made this show possible, I thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart for allowing us to share your vast talent with our audience and beyond. You have forever changed my life and left an imprint that is at the core of who I am.

To all the hosts, producers and crew, this was a glorious machine, and it has been an honor to work by your side and bask in your professionalism and resourceful vision. You are the best team I have ever had the great fortune to work with. I will never forget all the good times we have shared.

To the fans, thank you for your support and guidance and feedback, this show was a love letter not only to our fair city but to you!

Sounds on 29th will continue under the amazing leadership of Richard Taylor and Jessi Whitten. I’m so excited to see what the future holds and will always be its number one fan!
