As most of you know, the Parma Police Department has lost a very special person, officer, and friend in our law enforcement family. Officer Kandice Straub was close friends with our posts’ advisors. Our members often had contact with Kandice while participating in ride-alongs and at community events. We always looked forward to going on calls with her. She was a true inspiration and example of a strong and independent female officer. She had a place in all of our hearts. She will be dearly missed by our department, post, and family. Thank you Kandice for bringing smiles to our members and advisors faces. You light up any room that you walked into, and heaven is lucky to have gained an angel like you. We will never forget the impact your mere presence had on not only our members and advisors, but all who were lucky enough to know you. Thank you for all the memories and laughter you have left with us. Kandice Straub you have helped and taken care of so many people, now it’s Heavens turn. May you rest in peace and suffer no longer.
