Going back to my roots.
Lately, I have been painting for the pleasure of painting not because I need to paint to post, I hope you never have to feel trapped in that feeling.
Are the results total perfection? You are the critics but believe me, NOW? the process became to be a relaxing and fun one once again.

I originally bought the exclusively for travel and because life keeps me at home, I decided to start using them. One of my goals this year is to use what I have and “master” them. If you own them you might feel a bit of a challenge working with this type of product because they are mineral dyes and not pigments and it is a different monster to domesticate. You will see me using Peerless more often, the results are always beautiful. 🥰

I created two quick holiday-related paintings, I could not invest so much time in them, my Mom is visiting and she takes priority, this is the first time I see my Mom since the beginning of COVID and I am so grateful to have her, each second with her is a blessing.
I am hoping you liked the idea of these two paintings which happens not to be my idea. After I finished I did a bit of research, a “Christmas Tree Nebula” indeed exists and has almost the same vibe as mine. There goes my creativity and originality. 🤣
