THIS SATURDAY 5pm & 7pm
“About That Shark…”
The problem wasn’t the shark swimming next to me…the problem was I didn’t see it, I didn’t know it was there. This is all about perspective and how sometimes you can’t see what’s really there because you’re in it…you’re too close.
After the message, Ben Michaels will join us as our Guest Storyteller. Ben will share about growing up in chaos & spending years trying to outrun himself. He became really good at performing and…hiding. Things started to change when he realized he didn’t have to keep dragging every old story into every new room.

We spent time today getting to know the good people over at Urban Alchemy - UA - Denver.
These folks are also doing the important work of creating space for healing in our community.
Karie and I will be taking questions that you’ve dropped in the box or emailed in. We haven’t seen them and won’t see them until we’re live, because this isn’t about having perfect answers—it’s about modeling what it looks like to truly engage deep and sometimes challenging questions….questions about God, faith, spirituality, recovery, and our personal journeys.
Jennifer McCray Rincon will join us as our Guest Storyteller. Jennifer is an artist, playwright, and woman in recovery whose story is marked by profound loss, resilience, and hope. After losing her mother to alcoholism in 2010, Jennifer began her own recovery journey while launching Visionbox Studio, a Denver nonprofit dedicated to healing through the arts. Following the tragic loss of her daughter and son-in-law in 2024, Jennifer continues to use her story & creative work to break the silence of addiction.
